As a Non-Profit Organization, the Education Society of Singapore relies on contributions, memberships, fundraising events, and fees. These proceeds are used to organize education related activities that benefit students, teachers, and schools – with special attention paid to those who are most in need of help (including those with disabilities).

By joining us as members, your membership fees goes towards activities that you participate in, as well as contribute to the advancement of education in Singapore and across borders. Let us outline benefits that you receive in return, which includes but are not limited to those listed below.

 

Student Member

  • Priority opportunities to volunteer for projects that interest you.
  • Internship opportunities with local and/or international organizations.
  • Mentorship for those seeking guidance on educational pathways or career.
  • Commendation Certificates for active Student Members.
  • Reference Letters for outstanding Student Members.
  • Discount from participating merchants.
  • Do not need to be in Singapore.
  • Membership fee: $6/year

Executive / Retiree Member

  • For Executives, priority opportunities to hone your leadership and organizational skills by mentoring students to achieve goals set by the Society.
  • For Retirees, opportunities to meaningfully spend your time by engaging with the Society to develop educational activities.
  • Opportunities to keep yourself abreast of developments in education and technology.
  • Commendation Certificates for active Executive & Retiree Members.
  • Reference Letters for outstanding contribution by Executive Members.
  • Discount from participating merchants.
  • Do not need to be in Singapore.
  • Membership fee: $12/year

Corporate Member

Bronze Corporate Member Benefits:

  • Priority access to volunteering opportunities which matches Corporate’s goals.
  • Priority access to interns with great lifeskills, and values.
  • Membership fee: $200/year

Silver Corporate Member Benefits:

  • All the above, and
  • Society will help organize one workshop to educate participants on Corporate’s products/services, to create awareness and for brand building.
  • Membership fee: $1,000/year

Gold Corporate Member Benefits:

  • All the above, and
  • Society will help promote awareness and brand through creating volunteering opportunities centered on Corporate’s products/services.
  • Membership fee: $5,000/year
