Nurturing friendships through S.T.R.E.A.M.

From young students to teachers to school owners in different parts of Thailand, the ESS visited them and embarked on learning journeys with them – applying Edtech to Science Technology Robotics Engineering Arts & Math (S.T.R.E.A.M.).

During our meetings and workshops with the Thai schools and universities, we exchanged ideas and experiences on the development of pedagogy and curriculum for S.T.R.E.A.M.  Some of the Thai universities have also sent their students to be actively involved in the development of fun and engaging lesson plans for coding using robots supplied by the ESS.

Friendship in the footsteps of great tradition.

During the 1800s, King Chulalongkorn the Great (King Rama V of Siam) visited Singapore. From that time onwards, Singapore and Thailand have enjoyed a cordial relationship. The state-to-state and people-to-people contacts have developed opportunities and growth for both countries.

The ESS continues in this tradition of friendship building by organizing student exchanges between Singapore and Thai schools. These student exchanges took place with students and teachers from Singapore and China visiting Thailand schools and having cultural and language exchanges with their counterparts in Thailand.

Nurturing friendships through FUN!

“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” is a proverb that doesn’t apply to activities organized by the ESS.

Our student groups from Singapore and China had terrific times playing golf, splashing water at a water park, ate delicious Thai food that they learned how to cook themselves, and visited so many Thai attractions that most of them wanted their stay to be extended!

Having fun together is a great way to strengthen the bonds between new friends. The exciting experiences they enjoyed together will be memorable ones that form the foundations of truly long term friendships.
